The handle tapers from the wider heel to the narrower bolster. Technically the d-shape is designed more for right handed use but we find it is perfectly comfortable for left handers too.

SMALL: Best for petty or other small knives up to around 150mm. Length is 115mm

MEDIUM: Best for mid sized knives from 150mm up to around 240mm although for some bigger/taller 240mm knives you might want to consider a large handle. Length is 130mm
